The Cape Carteret Police Department offers a drug collection box for residents to drop off expired and unwanted prescription drugs from households where they could otherwise become a safety concern or source for drug abuse. The drug collection box is located in the Town Hall lobby, and is available during normal business hours. After-hours drop off is available by calling the Police Department at 252-393-2183.
